NOT BY BREAD ALONE

Life expectancy can be defined as the average number of years an individual can possible live with regards to environmental and economic factors. It varies from country to country. some have higher life expectancy while others have lower. Japan for instance has the highest life expectancy so far with about 5years age difference from USA and Canada, which are both 60 years. In Nigeria, life expectancy is between 43 - 45 years.

How can we increase life expectancy here in Africa/Nigeria? Most people have assumed that
long life is connected to food and shelter. As this a fact, it is not the very truth. if it were correct, Africans consumes large amount of food than anywhere else in the world, why is our mortality rate on the increase?

Research has shown that long life is a function of feeding the tripartite nature of man, and most importantly the very MAN - THE SOUL. And the only way to feed the soul is through books and music. Long life is not connected to food as much as it is connected to READING AND STUDYING.

This truth can also be found in the BIBLE where Jesus quotes the book of Deuteronomy 8:3 - "...THAT MAN DOTH NOT LIVE BY BREAD ONLY, BUT BY EVERY WORD..."

Africa, You can live longer than expected if you could just give yourself to reading {1 & 2 Timothy 4:13} I am not saying do not eat, try to equate your eating with your reading. It would help you BALANCE your DIET. READING IS FEEDING.

I see you LIVING a happier life ahead only if you give in to READING.

  1. Is it possible to live in this part of the world and be an ardent reader? I have been trying to keep that up for some time now and it pays me real well.
