LET GO, LET GOD!

I hope this testimony would bless you.

A day after motorbike riders were banned in Warri, a small city of Delta State. I took a taxi to get to work. while I was inside the car, sitting in front with another passenger as they usually carry, I could feel my handset slipping away from my pocket each time the driver adjusts the gear; the handset was inside my left pocket and seat was a little small for me and the other passenger, so I was almost sitting on the gear shift.

It occurred to me that I needed to position the phone in my pocket very so it does not fall off. Well, I got off as soon as I get to the junction of the road to my office.

About an hour after I entered the office I wanted to make a call when I realized that the phone was no longer in my pocket. I knew I had left it inside the taxi. it probably fell off my pocket as I envisaged but did not do anything about it. I stayed numb for a while to really reorganize myself. I knew what it means to lose a phone. I have lost this same phone a month after I bought it, a few years ago. and it was out of pains I purchased this one. besides this, my phone for me is more like a laptop; I have certain important documents in it. I use it for my quick bible study and search. I have songs and religious messages inside. I thought about all that I would lose; including the fact that it is the phone I mainly use to call my fiancee. I reasoned all that at a glance and I was really sad. But I had to still find a way to be myself to go about my duties at the office.

I started calling the phone. it rings each time I call but no one answers. I knew however that no one would pick it up because it was always on vibration. since it fell it will hardly be notices. Later I had to go to the bus stop at the junction where taxis operate to see if I could at least spot the vehicle that I entered. I waited for over three hours and the vehicle never showed up. I returned to the office more devastated. I really did not know what to do other than just calling the line hoping that someone might just notice. this went on till evening when the phone was finally switched off. I just understood that they must have seen it and probably removed my SIM card to replace it with another. Although I knew too that another SIM would  not work in it because I use a password that allows only my SIM card. But still I was worried about how they would want to contact me.

From minutes to hours and from hours to days... I still could not believe I have lost the phone. One thing came to my mind; only God can help me now. I let go of the search and let God take control. With hope I stayed put that God can do anything.

after TEN days I got a call on my other phone, when I looked at the caller ID; I became startled. It was my lost phone that was calling me. When I picked it up the female voice I heard just asked if I am the owner of the phone and that I should come to a particular place to get my phone. As I dropped the call, I became numbber than I was when I first lost it. What caused my numbness this time was the fact that even when you think things cannot happen because of how hard you have tried, God still can make a way where there seemed to be no way.

My fiancee was the one who went to get the phone for me. She said the guy told her that he bought the car from the former owner (probably the taxi driver) and saw my phone. And his wife told him on hearing it that he should find a way to give the phone back to the owner. That can only be God working for me on my behalf.

beloved, I am here to let you know today that whatever seems impossible to you, is not with God. the ONE who made it easy for me beyond all odds to find my phone after several days of unfruitful human search, will surely turn that impossibility for you to possibility in Jesus Name.

THE ROAD MAP FOR YOUR LIFE

THE ROAD MAP FOR YOUR LIFE

"IF you do not know where you are going, everywhere you go would look like it. " - BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO

This is exactly the summary of my story.
On the eve of 2010 I got a job that saw me leaving Kano State - where I did my National Youth Service Corp (NYSC), to a small town called Hadejia in Jigawa State, Nigeria. It was such wonderful experience for me because though I got a new job after NYSC, I had always wanted to tour the Northern part of Nigeria. But there was one problem; I do not know where Jigawa State is, talk little of a town called Hadejia, or even how to get there. Much of the problem was that I do not speak the language of the Hausas that much. Well, some of my colleagues offered to help me. They told me where to get a bus going to Jigawa and how to get the one going to Hadejia, and they also gave me the number of whom to call that would direct me properly.

So I got to the park, saw a bus. I asked if they were going to Jigawa State. I got in and we set off for the journey. I had no idea of the time it would take me to get to where I was going because it was my first time. But Thank God - or so it seemed - that after about 2 hours, we got to a stop at about few minutes to seven o clock in the evening. As I alighted the bus I immediately called the guy I was instructed to call. When he picked I informed him that I was in Hadejia, simple. He just asked me to tell a bike man to take me to Shagari Quarters. Remember, I cannot speak Hausa so I just mubled words and it worked. later we got to Shagari Quarters and I called the guy again to inform him that I was there. He told me to hold on that he was coming to pick me up.

When he got there, he called my phone again to let me know that he cannot find me. I then described what I was wearing, and where I was likely standing. he recognise the place and said ok that he was walking over there to meet me. I waited for some time but instead of seeing the guy, I got his call again. He said he was there and he could not see me. "But I am standing right under the large Water tank" I said to him. He said ok that I should ask the people around there to show me a Deeper Life church around the corner that He will be there and there is no way I could miss locating it. by this time it was almost Nine o clock. I asked and they recognized the place and without much time, I was there. "where are you?" He asked me, and I threw back that same question to him. We both became surprised at the whole playing of the event. He was startled at how I could have been in a place where he was and we could not see each other.

to make it easier for me, he then asked me to go back to the junction that there is a bank there and I should stay there and wait for him. I got to the junction and looked for a bank but could not find any. He called me and I explained to him that I could not see any bank there. That was when he asked me what I could see around where I was. I described the things I saw and he was shocked. He suggested finally that I should give the phone to any bike man I find around so that he can find out where I was, since he speaks Hausa. I luckily found a bike man that night now about 9:30pm, after talking with the guy for a while the guy gave me back the phone. What he told me thereafter almost made me skip my breath.

He informed me that I have not even arrived Hadejia to start with. He said I was still in a small town called Jahun, about another 2 hours drive to Hadejia.

Well, I finally got to Hadejia at about 11:30 pm. I got into his house and relaxed. However, I could not help but to ask; how was it that all the places that he asked me to get to I went and I was not yet at Hadejia. He said locations are named similarly in different towns in the northern area of Nigeria. For instance, Shagari Quarters is in most of the states and towns in  norther Nigeri and around there churches like Deeper Life Christian Church, Redeemed Christian Church of God, etc. are also situated.

I decided to share this true life story to show a graphic picture of the fact that when you do not know where you are haeded, every place may appear like it. So I thought to myself, if I had a road map, at every point where I got confused, I would have simply looked over the map with me and get guidance.

You need the road map of your life's journey otherwise life would be just a meaningless trail into oblivion.

The BIBLE is your life's road map. It has the direction to every confused bend of life, answer to every challenging situation, etc.

Get the bible today for direction and you will not confused anymore.

What SCENT OF WATER signify

 JOB 14:7-9

A lot of people have asked me why our institution is called SCENT OF WATER NIGERIA. I have tried to explain to them and illustrate how God showed us that He chose that name for Himself. But as I as doing my own study of the scripture and I want to share with you the revelation I was privileged to get.

The verse of scripture reads:
"7 For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.

8 Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground;

9 Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.
"

As you can see, the scripture is supposed to be self-explanatory. But the term "SCENT OF WATER" might not be vividly understood.

You know that "scent" means the original odour of any substance. the scripture above is best illustrate as thus:

For there is hope for a very hungry person when there is not sign of food within a mile away. though he had been hungry for days, and it all he could expect was when death would come and take him to beyond. Though he was very weak that he has not stood up from the place where he lay for over six days now;
but when aroma of a delicious fried rice is perceived from afar, he would immediately comfort himself that he still can live again.

And you know that water in the word of God speaks of knowledge. And the word of God also asserts that people get easily destroyed because of the lack of knowledge. But when knowledge begin to expose you to some hidden truth about the possible change of your situation, you cannot help but to be hopeful that it is coming to an end.

...and thine expectation shall not be cut short.
I know that Nigeria will become a nation of envy again if we can embrace knowledge like the scent of water to a thirsty soul.

God bless you!

SET YOURSELF ON FIRE!

Set yourself on FIRE!
Today everyone celebrates Barak Obama on his re-election as president of the United States of America, one of the strongest nations of the world if not the strongest. A journal wrote during the election week that “the decision is American, but the impact is global.” I recall Obama’s success when he was first elected. He had this slogan “Yes, I can!” and everyone else mouthed it with him. A few years before now, nobody knew anything about the man. A lot of people do not know how he started. But now he is a celebrity; the first African-American to win elections consecutively in the USA.

As I watched the celebration night, overlooking the crowd, the shouts and excitement, I could not help but said to myself, “Someday, I must be celebrated like this, if not better.” You may have also felt that way and asked if it were possible to be celebrated. Here in Nigeria, we have the likes of Obama as living legends. The man named Bishop David Oyedepo is an example; Pastor Enoch Adeboye and Pastor Chris Oyakhilome are others on the list. Though in the business world we have a few but they are there. Their lives and efforts to humanity cannot be over emphasized.

But in as much as you celebrate them, it is also possible that you too can be celebrated. Do not doubt this fact. I remember in one of Pastor Chris’ message, he said that people started noticing them when they began making impact but they have been there all along. You can be celebrated someday if you desire and stay on your purpose.

BE ON FIRE
This was a statement made by someone during a meeting. He said, “If you want to make impact, SET YOURSELF ON FIRE and the world will watch you BURN.” By this statement however, he was not saying you go pour on your body a liter of fuel and lynch yourself to death. No! what this means is that in any area you desire to make impact, do your very best to shine there. The truth is that when you see anyone on fire, you and everyone else must set gaze on him. Not the physical fire now, but in some way, people must feel you- your heat. You celebrate with Obama because you feel his heat. He is on fire. Alico Dangote is on fire and a lot of people feel his heat. Our Lord Jesus Christ was on a high fire, while he was on earth, and thousands of years after his death, we are yet to recover from that heat. You too can amount to something that will make you burn. Make your life count today.

HOW TO BE ON FIRE - Matt 24:28
If you must amount to anything in this life, it is therefore important that you possess what I call “stuff”. People would flock around you when you have something that keeps calling them. The scripture above reads,
“For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.”
The eagles will only gather where there are carcasses. People will come around you when you have something to offer. Whatever it should be would determine who and how much people you will gather. Obama did not just win because he had a fine look or that he was of an African decent; so they wanted to sympathize with him. If you followed the election campaign he was running campaigns for over 18 hours a day. And he still had time to preside over the hurricanes and flooding around the country. He was preferred than his counterpart because he possessed something more than him. There are so many pastors around but Pastor E A Adeboye stands out amongst a few. He possesses “stuff”. He has something a lot other pastors do not have; and those who have it cannot measure up in same quantity as his.

You are able to make maximum impact than you can ever imagine. All you need to do is just “POSSESS STUFF”. Be on fire. Have something a little more than the average person has. And you will command audience.

Finally my friend, what you possess tells what you gather. Some people gather vultures because they possess stinking meat. I am a living example of those who possess the meat of the eagles. I have made up my mind to be the best in what I do; to command the greatest audience. All I am going to do is possess more stuff in my area than anyone else in it.

YOU TOO CAN BE ON FIRE!

The ART of SEEING

THE ART OF SEEING
 “…WHAT SEEST THOU?” JEREMIAH 1:11,

There are five senses in the human body for; seeing, feeling, smelling, tasting, and hearing. Of all these, the senses of hearing and seeing, stand out. But the most of all is the sense of SIGHT – the art of seeing.

God takes our vision personal. So much so that in Jeremiah 1:11 He asked Jeremiah this important question, “What do you SEE?” In the quest of finding a way to succeed and live a happy and prosperous life, the mission of our vision cannot be undermined.

Even the bible agrees to this truth; you are what you think. However, the much of what we think about in life is a product of the much we see in our lives. What we see therefore plays a major role in a bid to succeed.

“…LIFT UP NOW THINE EYES…” GENESIS 13:14
It is sometimes burdensome to know how much potentials we possess inside of us and yet cannot find ways of using it, or more so, using it in ways unsuitable for it. In the verse of scripture above, God called Abraham and told him to “lift up now” his eyes. Notice that He did not says “see”. But God said “lift up”. Often times we tend to look down on things. We approach issues with negative or wrong perceptions. But when we look up, we go up. When we look on, we go on.

“…THE LAND WHICH THOU SEEST…” GENESIS 13:15
In the following chapter, God inspires Abraham to broaden his horizon. God did not say, “for all the land which you go to, or work on” but instead, He said, “for all the land which thou seest…” this means you can achieve only AS FAR as your eyes can see.

THE MIND’S EYE
You are able to achieve anything, only if you can first see it. However, so many people have resorted seeing only with their physical eyes. And that has necessitated their inability to achieve more than mediocrity. There is what is called the mind’s eye. Just as there is an inner voice in your spirit telling you what to do per time, so there is an inner eye showing you what you need to see per time – the right vision for the right step. Every great man that has walked the face of this earth, succeeded only on the things their minds’ eyes saw. Someone said, “You may never get to anywhere until your mind gets there first.”

“SEE WELL”
You are not able to achieve all you want until you begin to see. But you must see well! A blurry vision is as good as blindness. In Matthew 8:24, there is an account of a man healed by Jesus. When he was asked if he could see, his response was; “I see men as trees, walking.” It is very possible to look at a particular thing and mistake it for something else. A lot of people are seeing their opportunities as oppositions, their breakthroughs as break outs, their enemies as friends, and friends as enemies, etc. – you sure need a second touch from Jesus that should make you see “every man clearly.”

“AND GOD SAW THE LIGHT” GENESIS 1:3
Finally, Jeremiah replied, “I see…” The man, after being restored by Jesus, saw. Even the bible records that God saw the light, which He made that it was good.

I implore you from today to start seeing things in your mind. Ignore the day to day hardship. Forget the turmoil in the environment. And see what you want to achieve; what you need. See your future, your destiny, your possibilities, your financial comfort, your wife, your children, your happy life, your success, etc. and I can assure you;
“AS FAR AS YOUR EYES CAN SEE, YOUR LIFE WILL MANIFEST.

NOW, WHAT DO YOU SEE?

UNDEREMPLOYMENT AND UNEMPLOYMENT CHALLENGES IN NIGERIA

INTRODUCTION
It is somewhat hard to establish a point from the beginning of an article especially when it has to do with issues of this sort. I am attempting to bring to the fore, an aspect of the unemployment issue that has been ignored for a long time. There may not be enough evidence to buttress the points but this article would serve as a pointer to the fact things sometimes, do seem much more than they appear and also that there may be more than we know of it.
We are losing the war simply because we are fighting the wrong battle! That might just be the whole summary of the issues of discourse here. We Nigerians are very quick to responding to questions such as; “what are the problems of Nigeria?” “Who are the causes of the problem of Nigeria? “ And so on. We think we have a ready answer to each of the questions; very close to our lips. We say the problems are so obvious we just cannot be wrong in guessing.

In spite of what we know, we have not been able to solve a myriad of problems in Nigeria simply because while we are yet searching and researching new methods of dealing with it, we may yet need to go back to the drawing board or better still, stand on a higher platform so as to view and review the issue anew. So many of them who assumed they knew the solutions to some of these challenges have not in so much as properly weighed or tried these solution whether they are truly reliable. One major solution people have recommended with regards to unemployment in Nigeria is “create jobs” i.e. when jobs are created, a lot of people would be accommodated in the system. But how far has that relieved the system? Were the jobs created? Were the jobs enough to accommodate the rising population of the unemployed? What is the nature of the jobs created even? So many more questions would arise as you look critical upon this assumed solution. Every time I try to ask myself, if truly the solutions are reliable, why have they failed? We just need to look properly upon these challenges again and understand them.

I have decided to talk about the issue of unemployment so as to exemplify the point stated above - that we just need to think, and think again to know the root causes of our nation’s predicaments. This is one of Nigeria’s major predicaments. It is ever present around and its effect on the rise by the day. A major consequence of unemployment is youth restiveness. A more recent consequence is plaguing our dear country seriously at the moment and that is the so-called “BOKO HARAM”. There is need for us to properly look at this phenomenon from a new angle. Now let us take time to consider this issue in detail.

UNEMPLOYMENT
Although we are abreast with the meaning of this term, I have also deemed it fit to define it in this article. From the Encarta Dictionary, this term is used to refer to a condition of joblessness of a person or persons in society. It is the enforced idleness of wage earners who are able and willing to work but cannot find jobs. In societies in which most people can earn a living only by working for others, being unable to find a job is a serious problem. Because of its human costs in deprivation and a feeling of rejection and personal failure, the extent of unemployment is widely used as a measure of workers' welfare. The proportion of workers unemployed also shows how well a nation's human resources are used and serves as an index of economic activity.

IT IS NORMAL!
As I continue I would like to state clearly here that unemployment is a normal and functional phenomenon of society. It cannot be completely eradicated. There must be ‘the unemployed’ as far as society exists. When we begin to look at the causes we will then understand this properly. This is not to dispute its effect on individuals and society at large but I am only ascertaining that on the normal, it is functional but when not properly managed it becomes alarming in its effect.

CAUSES
Global economists have described the causes of unemployment as frictional, seasonal, structural, and cyclical. We shall look at them one after the other, but briefly.

FRICTIONAL UNEMPLOYMENT
Frictional unemployment arises because workers seeking jobs do not find them immediately; while looking for work they are counted as unemployed. Friction in this case refers to the incongruity between the demand for and supply of labor. The amount of frictional unemployment depends on the frequency with which workers change jobs and the time it takes to find new ones. About a quarter of those unemployed at any particular time are employed one month later.

SEASONAL UNEMPLOYMENT
Seasonal unemployment occurs when industries have a slow season, such as construction and other outdoor work in rainy season. It also occurs at the end of the school year, when large numbers of students and graduates look for work.

STRUCTURAL UNEMPLOYMENT
Structural unemployment arises from an imbalance between the kinds of workers wanted by employers and the kinds of workers looking for jobs. The imbalances may be caused by inadequacy in skills, location, or personal characteristics. Technological developments, for example, necessitate new skills in many industries, leaving those workers who have outdated skills without a job. A plant in a declining industry may close down or move to another area, throwing out of work those employees who are unable or unwilling to move. Workers with inadequate education or training and young workers with little or no experience may be unable to get jobs because employers believe that these employees would not produce enough to be worth paying the legal minimum wage.

CYCLICAL UNEMPLOYMENT
Cyclical unemployment results from a general lack of demand for labor. When the business cycle turns downward, demand for goods and services drops; consequently, workers are laid off.

UNDEREMPLOYMENT
It must be worthy of note here that the term unemployment rings in the ears of Nigerians on a daily basis. But quite HARDLY you hear someone talking about underemployment. Because its impact is so covert, we barely consider its existence or see little or no difference between it and the former; we have considered it no-threat. It may also be that we have very shallow idea of what this concept truly means.

WHAT THEN IS UNDEREMPLOYMENT?
Simply put, this term refers to a condition of not having enough work to do, or not being used in full capacity as required by the job description. It is the inability to maximize work as a result of being unfit/misfit or incapable for the job. On the other hand, it also refers to a condition where individuals or group of persons are employed or self-employed on a job wherein they are unable to fully maximize their proficiency.

It is noteworthy that in the case of unemployment, it was the individual that is directly affected. But in the case of underemployment, it is the job that is affected. This is from the view point that every job needs a competent employee to maximize it. At the expense of employing anyone less competent, the job would not be fully maximized.

This then goes further to explain to us that both the individual and the job must be in compliance with one another – the employee must be proficient and the job efficacious in order to bring about maximum result. The only proof of work is positive results. Where the employee is incapable of maximizing a job, production is hindered. This is why every employer must look out for competent employees without sentiments.

CAUSES OF UNDEREMPLOYMENT
“....so a curse causeless shall not come.” There are various factors that cause underemployment. But I shall list just those that are necessary to the issue of discourse.

RELATIVE SENTIMENTS
Nigerians are people with so much compassion for one another that it has in so many ways, crippled our businesses. This is because we try to allow our emotions dictate in business activities. For instance, when we see that our relation or friend is jobless, in a bid to helping the individual, we employ them or refer them on a job that naturally or by qualification or skill, he/she is incapable to handle. The individual becomes unproductive and the job is affected whereas there is an individual suitable for the job that is yet unemployed because the position is technically occupied but virtually vacant.

CHEAP WAGE LABOUR
Expertise is conventionally expensive in a sense. But a lot of business owners employ very inefficient unproductive individuals simply because they would not mind being paid peanuts as wages. In this case a misfit is employed, the job suffers without the knowledge of the business, except on the long run, and then the individual receives peanuts.

DEVOTEEISM
You might not find this word in any dictionary. But this is used to explain a situation where some politicians as well as some economic leaders try to protect their interest and seek cover for their whims and caprices by employing some devotees who though are unable to maximize the job, remain devoted to the protection of the interests of their perpetuators. We have observed here that a good number of these devotees are educationally unqualified, skillfully incompetent, and socially misfit. But simply because their job describes something different from the job they are assigned for they become very relevant. Take an example of a devotee employed as an accountant so as to protect and cover the fraudulent activities of his/her employer. It therefore means that proper accounting cannot be achieved but just for the sole purpose of ensuring protection of interest.
Hence, we have so many top officials in government parastatals, large corporations, firms, organizations, etc. who are only devotees to those whose interests they protect and they do nothing but that. They receive huge amount of money as salary but contribute little or nothing to the production process. These also are technically employed but virtually unemployed, and the job under maximized.

SELF ASSISTANCE
This stems out of a situation where a number of our unemployed youths (graduates and non-graduates), having searched for jobs (with their certificate) and finding none, and not willing to remain idle or steal to earn a living, resort to doing very menial and unproductive jobs like riding okada, selling okrika selling or distributing recharge cards and making phone calls, driving taxis, etc. whereas by their qualification, they are capable of fitting into some position in most top firms. But simply because other persons have technically occupied those positions through devoteeism, relative sentimentality or cheap wage labour, etc. they become unemployed. So they try to make ends meet by employing themselves in jobs that are unsuitable for them. They are unable to maximize their worth in skills and acquisition. So their attempt for self-assistance is actually self-underemployment.

WAYS TO CUSHION THE EFFECT OF UNDEREMPLOYMENT
I want to believe that from this little writing, I may have succeeded in swerving you mind from the assumed problem to the real problem per se. therefore in order for us to reduce the rate of unemployment in our country, we must first eradicate or reduce to the barest minimum, the high underemployment rate. I will discuss two major ways in this article.

RE-STANDARDIZATION
We already know what standardization means. But I must add that standard is only standard when its effects are local and suitable to the conditions of the society and not just that it is set (usually by external factors outside the societal system). We need to redesign a standard unique and suitable to our nation. We must first look at how it affects our own citizens, business environments or needs as a people before we implement it. So many standardized policies here in Nigeria have never benefited Nigeria and her citizens, bad enough, most of us do not yet realize this.

DE-EMPHASIZE CERTIFCATION
The much crave by individuals for certificate in Nigeria has recorded much harm to our nation than the good assumed. Government parastatals and other business corporations have laid too much emphases on having certificate that all and sundry would do ANYTHING to get whatever certificate needed for the job in question. Let me state here that certification is not wrong in itself. It was suppose to serve as a proof that one studied what. But looking at the Nigeria situation, those certified are even unable to defend what they hold (certificate) in their possession.
NOT UNEMPLOYMENT BUT UNDEREMPLOYMENT
The issue therefore is not actually unemployment but underemployment. For instance, if we do not employ individuals on the bases of relative sentiments, cheap wage labour, devoteeism and what have you, the high rate of unemployment would not really dwindle but credible candidates for the job would get it and the job effectiveness would increase. Let those who are unqualified be relieved of their jobs and employ the very few that are very qualified both educationally and skillfully.

RELIABLE SOLUTION TO UNEMPLOYMENT/UNDEREMPLOYMENT
I consciously used the word “reliable” to state here that this solution is workable anywhere and anytime. But let me start by explaining to us that “JOB CREATION” as a suggestive measure to eradicate unemployment is the most unfeasible ways of cushioning the effects of unemployment. No matter the number of jobs that is created for however long, it still would not accommodate the high rate of unemployment. This is because it has not disrupted the causes of underemployment listed above. And not until the causes of underemployment are eradicated and underemployment totally warded off, that we can begin to talk about dwindling the effect of unemployment. The solution, which remain THE ONLY solution to unemployment issue as it relates to Nigeria is thus

NOT SELF-EMPLOYMENT BUT SELF-DISCOVERY FOR SELF-EMPLOYMENT!
As we have seen on the early pages of this article, “self-employment” in itself does cushion the effects of unemployment but rather it turns out to encourage underdevelopment. Although I agree with the fact that self-employment is a panacea to unemployment issue in Nigeria, but we must understand that it must have a working procedure- a pre-process. And that SELF DISCOVERY!
Mark Emmanuel said that “the journey to greatness begins with the knowledge of self!” self-employment must be preceded by a discovery of self. One must discover what he/she can maximize his/her ability on before the venture. It is self-employment on what is discovered that makes for adequate functionality and profitability on both the individual and the job in question. There is something each and everyone on earth knows best to do. Nigerians have great potentials in them. The major challenge we face is the discovery and maximization of these potentials to the benefits of our country Nigeria. Let people begin a revolution for self-discovery, there and then self-employment would truly become the only solution to Nigeria’s unemployment challenge.

IN CONCLUSION
I therefore conclude by saying that those who suggested self-employment are very correct but the reliability of their suggestion lies on the preceding factor, which is SELF-DISCOVERY. Only there and then can individual fully be employed maximally.
This is why in SCENT OF WATER NIGERIA INSTITUTION; we encourage people to seek for ways to better their lives through orientation, coaching, learning for self-improvement.
